By placing an order with Cranlan Engraving Services, you agree to our terms and conditions. Our policies are designed to protect both parties and ensure a positive experience. We are committed to providing high-quality Laser Engraved Gifts and excellent customer service. Thank you for choosing us for your engraving needs.

Terms and Conditions

​

Cranlan Engraving Services and Gifts products will be governed by the following terms and conditions. The terms and conditions in Buyer's purchase orders or other communications that are contradictory to the terms and conditions herein will not be valid. Cranlan Engraving Services and Gifts reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions herein from time to time.

Cranlan Engraving Services and Gifts reserves the Products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three months from the date of shipment. Upon examination by Cranlan Engraving Services and Gifts, at its sole option, will refund the purchase price of, or repair or replace at no charge any Products found to be defective. This warranty does not apply to any defects resulting from any action of Buyer, including but not limited to improper installation, improper interfacing, improper repair, unauthorized modification, misapplication, and mishandling, such as exposure to excessive current, heat, coldness, moisture, vibration or outdoors air. Components which wear are not warranted.

Cranlan Engraving Services and Gifts would be pleased to offer suggestions on the use of its various Products. They are only suggestions, and it is Buyer's responsibility to ascertain the fitness of the Products for Buyer's intended use. Cranlan Engraving Services and Gifts will not be responsible for any damages that may result from the use of the Products.

1. Products Descriptions and Prices


We do our best to ensure that the information about Products is accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that there will be no errors in the description and/or pricing of the Products, or that Products will always be available if you wish to place an Order to purchase them. Also, the colours you see on your screen may depend on your computer system and settings, so we cannot guarantee that your computer will accurately display such colours. We reserve the right to modify the information about Products displayed on our Site, including as regards prices, description and availability. However, such changes will not affect Orders for which you have already received an Order Receipt email.

2. When Orders are not accepted


While we do our best to always accept Orders, we could however refuse an Order in certain cases, for example if: you provide us with incomplete, incorrect or fraudulent information regarding your identity, age, payment details, billing information, shipping address; we discover that there was an error on our Site relating to the Products you ordered, for example as regards the price or description displayed, the Products you ordered are unfortunately out of stock or no longer available, we have reasonable grounds to believe that you intend to resell the Products. If we cannot accept your Order we will contact you by email as soon as possible but in any case no later than 30 days from the date of your Order. If we cannot accept your Order because the Products are no longer available, or because of an error in the price and/or other information on our Site, we will refund you any money you may have already been charged for such Products.

 

 

3. Wood and Natural Products

​

When purchasing wooden, leather, slate products there will be natural imperfections within the product, and we have little to no control over this. Grain changes and looks of the materials are considered as an aesthetic appeal to the natural look. We simply can’t exchange or refund any natural product that you might feel the material appearance differs as this itself could be pleasing for someone as personal opinion will differ from person to person.

Any product image on our website does represent a actual product but the surface finish within the product does vary and will of course be different. Consider this as the products unique fingerprint and no two will ever be the same.

Wood and Natural material care: As with all natural products we can’t be held liable to any form of cracking, splitting, aged deformities of natural products. Due to all timbers being used are either green wood or kiln dried splitting can occur due to environmental factors. All wood will age over time and splitting and cracking can occur. We will not be held liable for this.

Glassware Products

Due to the transparency of all glass the engraving will be present but will show up more in different light situations and when the product is filled. This is typically industry standard and cannot be changed

 

4. Font Style and Sizing

We reserve the right to alter artwork of wording provided to fit the design template. The Character limit we provide is simply a guide and in some circumstances we may need to alter this with no notice given. If you require more information please contact us at info@cranlanengraving.co.uk

Fonts are set within each design and due to each font being unique in their design we can’t control characters and their look. None of our fonts carry a guarantee for look and type face of characters.

You as a customer are always welcome to a proof of any product prior to making, upon request, this is to ensure fonts and fitment of lettering is to your liking. We can’t be held responsible, for fonts or the lettering used within a font. Please contact us at info@cranlanengraving.co.uk

 

5. Changes to Wording on Orders Placed

We are happy to make any changes to any custom wording as long as we are notified prior to commencement of engraving. Please ensure we are notified within 24 hours to info@cranlanengraving.co.uk with the change required and also the order details.

We will reply to your email confirming this change. Please note if no reply is received confirming this change from us then no change will be made and the original text requested will be added to the product.

We will not accept any responsibility for errors once an order is placed as the customer is responsible for this.
